We are Michelle & Troy Murrah from Long Beach, CA. Our brand (builtquilt.com) offers art, home furnishings, décor, and custom design & fabrication (on a case by case basis). We incorporate Troy’s artwork, Michelle’s "great" ideas, and found imagery to offer an alternative to the mass-produced items already in the marketplace. Inspired by historical dramas, family tradition, backyard birding, architecture, and subcultures, our hopes are that these pieces will whisk you away to another place and time.

“Joined March 31, 2015”—Since then, we have had a baby, gotten stitches, visited Canada, exhibited in a solo art show, moved towns, had another baby, toured the UK, and gotten more stitches (sure, you can ask us, "where?")... yet done close to nothing with our Etsy shop. Finally, starting with a few favorites, we will continue to add more items to our inventory based on feedback.
